ROYAL OAK--Looking for love is the name of the game at the second annual Table for Eight Deck Party and People Scavenger Hunt.

The event will be held July 29 at Memphis Smoke Restaurant in Royal Oak.

"This was a very popular event last year, and we expect it to be even better this year," says Regina Stocco, director of Royal Oak-based Table for Eight.

The fun and festivities include a Southern barbecue style dinner on the deck, cash bar, mixing and mingling, and the interactive scavenger hunt.

"Guests provide us with interesting or unusual facts about themselves, which we compile into a list. The object of the game is to meet the most people and accumulate points by finding out who the facts are about," Stocco adds.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place winners as well as for the strangest and funniest facts about guests. Advance registration is required for this popular party, and attendance is limited to 120, so early sign up is suggested.

The fee for members of Table for Eight is $45 and $50 for nonmembers. The People Scavenger Hunt is targeted toward singles younger than 45 years of age. Sign in and cocktails begin at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. For further information about this event or to register: CLICK HERE
